I set myself a little challenge a few months ago–to create an in-depth web development video series on building a complete corporate website from scratch, documenting the process on YouTube via my Frontend Hero outfit.
I have seen quite a number of these tutorials on YouTube over the years, and in my opinion the vast majority of these ‘Create a Corporate Website from Scratch‘ videos don’t cover the topic adequately, with some leaning on CSS libraries such as Bootstrap, others using a base project to start it off, or the project itself being a basic one page setup etc etc.
My take on this website build from scratch series is to start with an empty project folder, and slowly build up everything from scratch! Obviously I will be using third party icons, imagery, code etc but the basic idea is that I will be hand coding up the website from scratch.
